Children’s Ministry

First Christian Church has a vibrant children and youth program offering something for every age group. We have a nursery available, a pre school age group, k-5 programming called (252), middle school offering called JUMP, and a high school offering called E3. Something for everyone!

Formerly known as “membership” this team handles all aspects of our gathering together in fellowship. Special meals, Homecoming and muffin ministry are just a few of the events in which they organize and participate.

Peanut Ministry

The “best peanuts around” are cooked and packaged here at First Christian Church. Through funds raised by our Peanut Ministry teams efforts, they give directly back to the upkeep, maintenance and running of the church.

Men’s Ministry

Christian Men’s Fellowship ministers to the unique needs of men in the church, enabling them to fulfill their potential as servants of God, strengthening the total ministry of the church.

Congregational Care

Our congregational care team, in coordination with our Congregational Care Minister, works with the members of our congregation during times of crisis, sickness and need.

Christians in Action

Christians In Action is an outreach ministry here at First Christian Church. CIA helps provide a means whereby persons, experiencing hardship or devastation through fire or flood can improve their situation through the donation of furniture, household and clothing items. The ministry also provides assistance to local groups like Eagles Wings, Ruth’s House, Zion Shelter, Scouts, Coastal Pregnancy Center, Beaufort County schools, and the Marion Shepard Cancer Center just to name a few.

Women’s Ministry

Christian Women’s Fellowship or Disciples Women’s Ministries is a conduit for diverse connections empowering each woman to find her voice and live out her call. (Micah 6:8) They offer monthly group meetings and circle meetings.

Connect Groups

A Connect Group is a place to build friendships, grow as a disciple of Jesus and find the care you need to face life’s toughest challenges. Each connect group meets at a different time or different day of the week, some groups meet in the church and some outside of the church. Some meet year round and some follow a Fall and Spring semester schedule.
